GUIDELINES FOR RECTORSHIP
Formation For Rectorship
- Person feels God’s call to the Rectors Apostolate
- A person who is living the Christian life, lives the Cursillo method of Group Reunion, Ultreya, and/or Community for a minimum of 3 years, and has the Cursillo mentality.
- A person attends Rector Training before applying for a Rectorship to the Secretariat.
- Person has experience for Rector(a) position
1. Professor
2. Head Cha
3. Cha-Cha
4. Served on a minimum of 5 weekend teams
- Person groups with Weekend Coordinator and requests the Weekend coordinator to submit their name to the Secretariat for approval for Rectorship.
- Person should be knowledgeable of Leader’s Manual and Step by Step Rector’s Guide

Process for Rectorship
- All potential Rectors/Rectoras must meet the 3-Day Weekend Coordinator for formation.
- The potential Rector/Rectora must be approved by the Secretariat.
- If the Secretariat decides that the potential Rector/Rectora needs further formation, they will be instructed about further formation and/or 3-Day Weekend experience.
- Once given a weekend rector position, they should attend the Secretariat meeting or send a report about the team formation to the 3-Day Coordinator.

- Team should not be formed until the team (same sex) from the previous weekend is complete.
- A request for consideration to rector a Cursillo weekend should be made to the 3- Day Coordinator
